Kickstarter Custom Cocktail: Alice's Snomonkey December 16 2013

snomonkey recipe

After a long day of skiing, snowboarding, or playing in the snow, there's nothing better than sitting around a fire with a warm beverage to warm you back up. Alice's Snomonkey is the perfect way to spice up your hot cocoa after a day in the snow. Cinnamon and banana combine nicely with the chocolate, and it's so easy to make.

Start by filling a mug halfway with warm milk. You can either warm it on the stove or in the microwave. If you have a Silipint, it's perfect for this drink. I like to fill up the Silipint about halfway with milk and pop it in the microwave to warm up. While the milk is warming up, pour cinnamon whiskey into the largest compartment of the ReJigger, followed by creme de banana in the next largest compartment, and Kahlua in the smallest compartment. If you don't have cinnamon whiskey, just about any whiskey will work.

Once the milk is warm, add your favorite hot cocoa powder and stir until it is all dissolved. Immediately pour in the contents of the ReJigger and give it another quick stir. Your Snomonkey is ready to be enjoyed. If you want to get fancy, you can add some marshmallows. Cheers!
