Gordon's Cup October 27 2013
One of my favorite summer cocktails is the Gordon’s Cup, which is a variation on a Gimlet with muddled cucumbers. The cucumber adds a cooling freshness that really balances out the lime. Start by pouring out the ingredients for the Basic ReJiggered Gimlet.
- Simple syrup
- Lime juice
Cut up a cucumber into small chunks and add 5-6 chunks of cucumber to the pint glass. Muddle the cucumbers with a muddler or wooden spoon until they are pretty well smashed. Add your ice and Gimlet ingredients to the glass and give it all a good shake. Strain it into a chilled glass and enjoy!
